Legacy Equipment Parts & Support

CEC Parts & Legacy Support

Keep Your CEC Plant Working

CEC plants have worked in pits, quarries and recycling operations for decades. Nor’East Equipment supports owners of Road Runner, Screen-It, Crush-It and other legacy CEC equipment with replacement-parts sourcing, machine identification and practical application help.

We start with the unit in front of you. Serial numbers, photographs, measurements and component information help us identify the right parts—even when the original part number is no longer available.

Support Built Around Your Plant

Accurate Information Is the First Part of the Repair

CEC equipment was produced in many configurations. Model names alone may not identify every component used on a particular plant.

Nor’East Equipment works through the machine details before recommending a part. That means reviewing serial numbers, build information, photographs and measurements to help reduce guesswork and avoid ordering components that do not match the plant.

01

Identify the Plant

We begin with the CEC model, plant serial number and any available shaker, crusher or engine identification.

02

Review the Component

Clear photographs, casting numbers, measurements and details about the failed component help narrow the available options.

03

Build a Practical Solution

Depending on the machine, the answer may be a direct replacement, an updated component or a repair strategy built around the existing plant.

Start with the Serial Numbers

The serial numbers connect your request to the actual plant and its major assemblies.

When possible, include clear photographs of each number along with a full view of the machine and the component you need. Useful identification includes:

  • Plant serial number stamped on the main plant frame
  • Shaker serial number on the drive side near the discharge end of the screen
  • Engine serial number from the engine identification plate or marking
  • CEC model and any known year or original build information
  • Photographs, part numbers, casting numbers and key measurements

A Direct Connection to Many CEC Builds

RD Olson Manufacturing built a majority of CEC plants and retains build files that can help support many of those legacy machines.

Those records can provide valuable insight into how a specific plant was originally configured. When the serial number and build information are available, they can help identify assemblies, compare replacement options and support plant-specific solutions.

Build-file support depends on the individual machine and the records available. Supplying the complete plant serial number gives us the best place to start.

CEC plants can differ even when they share the same model name. Parts availability and fit must be confirmed against the individual machine before ordering.
Before You Request Parts

Send What You Have—We’ll Help Work Through the Rest

A complete part number is helpful, but it is not always required to begin reviewing a CEC parts request.

  • CEC model and plant serial number
  • Shaker, crusher and engine serial numbers when applicable
  • Full-machine and close-up component photographs
  • Existing part, casting or manufacturer numbers
  • Key dimensions and mounting details
  • A description of the problem or operating symptoms

Frequently Asked Questions

CEC Parts & Legacy Equipment Support

What information should I send with a CEC parts request?

Start with the CEC model, plant serial number and clear photographs of the complete machine and required component. Include shaker, crusher or engine serial numbers, part numbers, casting numbers and measurements when available.

Can Nor’East Equipment help if I do not have the original part number?

Often, yes. Serial numbers, photographs, measurements and available build information may allow us to identify a replacement or determine another practical solution. The amount of information available will affect what can be confirmed.

Why are the RD Olson build files important?

RD Olson Manufacturing built a majority of CEC plants. When a build file is available for a specific serial number, it can provide useful information about the original plant configuration and components used during manufacturing.

What is Resource CEC?

Resource CEC is a new online resource being developed for Construction Equipment Company equipment owners. It will focus on parts, equipment identification, practical resources and support for legacy CEC machines. The site is coming soon.

Can you help with CEC Road Runner, Screen-It and Crush-It equipment?
