Our Story

Experience Built in the Field.

Nor’East Equipment was built on decades of hands-on experience supporting material processing operations throughout the Northeast — from parts and field service to application support and equipment sales.

Understanding Equipment Beyond the Sales Floor.

Nor’East Equipment was founded by Joe Collazo, whose career throughout the Northeast has included parts, field service, application support and sales management across a wide range of material processing industries.

That experience includes supporting recycling and C&D operations, waste and organics processing, sand and gravel operations, earthmoving equipment and attachments, and other demanding applications.

That hands-on background still shapes how Nor’East Equipment operates today: understand the application, identify the problem and recommend a practical solution that makes sense in real-world conditions.

Keeping Proven Equipment Productive.

Some of the most productive equipment in the field isn't new. Nor’East Equipment has extensive hands-on experience supporting CEC, Roadrunner and Screen-It plants and continues to help customers keep these systems working.

Through replacement parts, wear components, troubleshooting and strategic improvements, we help customers maximize equipment life, improve performance and realize the value of the equipment they already own.

How It Started

Built to Serve Customers Who Deserved Better Support.

Nor’East Equipment was created after seeing a recurring problem firsthand across the Northeast: customers weren't always receiving the attention, support and honest guidance they deserved. Smaller operations were often overlooked, while larger customers could struggle to get timely, results-driven support. The goal was to build a company that approached every customer with the same responsiveness and commitment.

Our Philosophy

The Right Solution Comes Before the Sale.

Putting the customer first means understanding the operation before recommending equipment or parts. It means remaining accessible, providing practical guidance and helping customers avoid costly mistakes. Nor’East Equipment is focused on building long-term relationships — not simply making the next sale.

Practical Solutions. Responsive Support. Long-Term Relationships.

Whether you're planning a new equipment purchase, trying to improve an existing plant or searching for parts to keep an older machine productive, our approach remains the same: understand the problem and help find the right solution.
