PROTECT YOUR EQUIPMENT WHERE WEAR STARTS
The right wear system can reduce maintenance, improve uptime and extend equipment life.
Abrasive material does not wear every surface the same way. Particle size, impact, material velocity, angle of contact, moisture and operating temperature all influence whether rubber, ceramic or a combined system is the best fit.
Nor’East Equipment works with quarry, mining, aggregate and material handling customers to review the application and identify a practical Corrosion Engineering solution for the areas taking the most punishment.
RUBBER LINING SYSTEMS & HAUL TRUCK LINERS
Absorb Impact. Resist Abrasion. Reduce Maintenance.
Corrosion Engineering manufactures molded-rubber and steel-backed lining systems using proprietary rubber compounds developed for corrosion, impact and abrasion resistance.
Rubber lining can protect high-wear equipment while absorbing impact energy and reducing the noise and vibration associated with material handling.
- Rubber wear liners and CorroPlate™ systems
- Haul truck bed liners for severe impact conditions
- Dead bed and wear bars
- Engineered rubber crusher wear parts
- Custom-molded and steel-backed configurations
- Protection for chutes, hoppers, tanks and transfer points
CORROCERAMIC™ CERAMIC LINING SYSTEMS
High Alumina Ceramic. Energy-Absorbing Rubber. Engineered Protection.
Corrosion Engineering ceramic systems combine the wear resistance of high alumina ceramics with the energy-absorbing characteristics of rubber.
Different ceramic shapes, compositions and attachment methods allow the lining system to be matched to sliding abrasion, heavy impact or a combination of both.
- CorroCube® ceramic cube wear liners
- CorroTile® ceramic tile wear liners
- MagCube® and MagTile® magnetic liners
- Vibracube® ceramic-and-rubber inflatable liners
- MagPatch™ magnetic wear patches
- Custom systems for chutes, feeders, launders and transfer points
RUBBER SCREEN MEDIA
Longer Wear. Lower Noise. Efficient Screening.
Corrosion Engineering rubber screen media is designed to combine wear resistance and noise reduction with efficient material separation.
Available systems cover demanding scalping applications, tensioned decks, modular installations and custom screen shapes.
- Trommels and trommel screens
- Ceramic hybrid screens
- Scalping and grizzly decks
- Custom modular screens
- CorroSteel™ steel-backed rubber screens
- CorroFlex™ and CorroCable™ tensioned screens
CORROSION ENGINEERING WEAR SOLUTIONS
The best wear material depends on how the material contacts the equipment. We review the complete wear pattern before recommending rubber, ceramic, screen media or a combined solution.
LET’S LOOK AT THE COMPLETE WEAR APPLICATION
A liner that performs well in one location may not be right for another. Before recommending a system, we look at the material, wear mechanism and equipment conditions together.
If possible, send photographs of the worn area, equipment drawings or measurements, and an estimate of the existing component’s service life. That information helps us identify the most practical options.
- Material type, size and hardness
- Impact angle and drop height
- Tonnage and material velocity
- Wet, dry or slurry conditions
- Operating temperature
- Current liner or screen construction
- Observed wear or failure pattern
- Available dimensions and drawings
- Target service life and maintenance window
LOCAL SUPPORT FROM NOR’EAST EQUIPMENT
Wear problems are easier to solve when the recommendation starts with the actual application rather than a generic liner specification.
Nor’East Equipment combines Corrosion Engineering’s engineered wear products with hands-on knowledge of crushing, screening and material handling equipment. We help customers document the wear problem, compare available systems and coordinate application-specific components.
If conditions change or a new wear pattern develops, give us a call. We will help review the application and determine the next practical step.
READY TO REDUCE WEAR AND UNPLANNED DOWNTIME?
Whether you are protecting a chute, haul truck, screen deck or another high-wear area, Nor’East Equipment can help you evaluate the available Corrosion Engineering solutions.
